Go Green: How to live green on a budget?
Well, definitely we are not millionaires who could just do and get what we wanted in life. Speaking of living green - how will live by it on a budget? You care about the environment, you care about the planet but perhaps you will take into consideration the price of organic products. Living a green does not really have to live with the expensive at all. It is by the way you live and how you perform your duty toward your work while performing also your duty in protecting the environment. Well, a person on a budget can definitely make many things to improve the environment. So the question is how?
• A shower uses less water, so you won't have to heat as much water to get yourself clean. You'll also save time too, which can be helpful on busy days. This doesn't mean you have to cut out long, relaxing baths altogether. Just use them as an occasional treat instead of an everyday item.
• Do not use thermostat during winter, instead you can use five percent only for the heating budget. You have to save energy so that you will only pay only lesser. You can also have an alternative way of saving electricity such as using electric fan and aircon only during hot seasons.
• If possible do not use your car often because it would cost large expenditures due to gas and petrol. You can try another way of transportation like riding in a bus or if your destination is just near you can use bike instead using your car. Definitely, this would really help minimizing your budget. If you cannot ride a bus for some matters, you can ride in a train or if not available ask your friend of neighbor if you join in with the ride. You can use your car if there is an important event or you are really in a hurry.
• You will be able to apply green living if you are shopping your food with good decision making. Do not buy in one by one only because definitely it will cost too much. You can also try buying in larger quantity or in bulk, by this maybe you can have discounts and do not forget to use your bag which used for shopping so that you will not need to buy those things and that you will be able to save. In this way, you will be able to save money, effort and time of course.
